In your own space, talk about why you are doing the Fandom Snowflake Challenge? What drew you to it as a participant? What do you hope to accomplish by doing these challenges?
I'm doing this because I realize that I rarely post non-fic posts unless they are health related or stress related. This is my way of adding some positive posts to my timeline.
In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. L
I'm actually lucky - I have a wonderful flist that has gifted me with wonderful art and stories over the years.
But what i would like would be to expand my icon list with the following:
One specific thing I would love is an icon that has both Supernatural and White Collar in it. Maybe a 4-some with the boys. That way I can use it as my default icon and proudly show my faves.
Another thing would be generic icons of fannish sayings or pics. Cartoons, gifs, anything that celebrates fandom.
And lastly - fun icons celebrating the craft of writing. Quotes, images, etc.
In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator.
One of my favorites is The Art of Words. This was based on a prompt about the definition of pseudology - lying considered as an art. It's not very long, but I go back and read it and I'm amazed at how it still affects me.
The second one is Staff Briefing. This is short, sweet and strictly dialogue and makes me laugh every time I re-read it.
Third - anything in my Dragon 'verse. It starts with Here Be Dragons as the centerpiece and has 7 posted stories. This is my baby. Simply - I love it and it has so many timestamps that I will never run out of stories to write in it.
